Meet the Pastor

Fr. Mark Gadoury is a Roman Catholic priest of Jesus Christ for the Diocese of Providence, ordained on June 4, 2022.

He grew up in Cumberland, RI at Saint Joan of Arc Parish. He graduated in 2014 from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.

He began his seminary studies in the fall of 2016 at Our Lady of Providence Seminary, completing 2 years of philosophical studies at Providence College as a pre-theologian.

He then attended St. John’s Seminary in Brighton, MA for 4 years of major theological studies, graduating with a Masters in Divinity (MDiv) and Bachelors in Sacred Theology (S.T.B.).

He previously served as Associate Pastor at both St. Luke’s and Holy Angels parishes in Barrington, Rhode Island.

He was appointed pastor of St. Joseph Church Woonsocket, RI on July 1, 2024, and installed on October 26, 2024.

He also serves as the chaplain to St. Raphael Academy in Pawtucket and
State Chaplain to the Rhode Island Knights of Columbus.
